About the destination
Just a short flight from Nairobi lies the idyllic Indian Ocean archipelago of Zanzibar. Famous for its intoxicating spice aromas, beautiful white sand beaches, and warm turquoise waters, the heart of the island is Stone Town — a UNESCO-listed step back in time with narrow winding streets, Swahili traders, and the daily call to prayer. Beyond the culture, Zanzibar offers world-class scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing, and kitesurfing, as well as endemic wildlife in the Johazi Forest. The island's south-east coast is home to some of the finest beaches in East Africa.

When to go
This itinerary is priced at low season rates, making it an excellent value window to experience Zanzibar. The low season generally falls during the long rains (roughly April to May) and the short rains (November), when the island is quieter and prices are reduced. Outside of these periods, Zanzibar enjoys warm, tropical conditions year-round. The dry season from June to October brings cooler, windier weather to the south-east coast — ideal for kitesurfing at Paje — while December through March offers hot, sunny days perfect for beach and watersports. Stone Town and its cultural attractions can be enjoyed at any time of year.
Getting there
All international flights to and from Zanzibar's Abeid Amani Karume International Airport are included in the package, along with transfers to and from the airport.
